Art Fields

Art Fields Statement:
She was consequently heartbroken. All these years that consumed her, felt like they’d withered to nothing. All these old, sentimental letters. She looked into the crackling fire. “Burn,” she whispered aloud. She wanted to cry, but not a tear came to her face. She started throwing letters in. No hesitation. If he could throw it all away, so could she. The last letter came. The first letter he’d given her. She put the corner of the letter in the fire, then watched it burn. She held it in her hand. Her frown became a smile. “It’s a new beginning,” she thought. The first letter of her once cherished love, now enemy, became ash.
