Theatre

From kindergarten shows, choir, show choir, musicals and plays. The first play I saw sparked my love for theater. I saw a High school version of "Beauty and the Beast." When I was young I'd design dresses, and that love never disappeared.  I loved how they designed the clothes. There is also my love for acting. My first shows were in kindergarten. I had two shows. One where I wore a pink dress with a cupcake on it. I did a scene of jack jumping over a candle stick. In kindergarten, we had a holiday show for the parents.

Later on I did show choir. We did two songs "Shake it off." By Taylor Swift and Timber by Pitbull.

I also did a year of Show choir.

In middle school, I did Musicals from 6th grade to 8th. We performed the Wizard of OZ, The Little Mermaid, and Shrek: The Musical. I was ensemble for the first two years, then Captain of the Guards in Shrek.

My last year in New York I was in The Lightning Theif. In ninth Grade. I was cast and preformed as Chiron.

After Moving to South Carolina I joined a theatre class. Performers were picked and performed a show in Sophmore year. I performed a fencing act.

In Junior year I moved to the Academy of the Arts, Science, and Technology. At the Academy I did my second year of theater class. I got cast as a lead for the class theater show, performed at ALL County, as well as to the school. Other than being the lead, I helped with almost if not everything. Designed my own costume and makeup. Helped with others' costume and makeup critique. I designed our poster for All County as well. Helping other students from other schools know when to go and unpack their items, and mark the floors. Other times I helped with lights and sound in the theater for school events like awards and honor inductions.

Prior to senior year, in the summer I auditioned and got into a summer program. at AAST, where I attended Junior and Senior years. All base schools could apply. The program was two weeks long. The oldest students did one or two scenes from a play. I was in both. In the scenes I was cast as a girl in a coma, we see inside her thoughts. People are trying to communicate with her or wake her back up. How she got into the coma is a mystery. Other than those scenes I directed middle school students in a scene. As well as directed and performed in a commercial with other students. I helped write it as well. At the end of the time we performed everything for our parents. I was the only student from AAST in the program, so I was a big help in knowing where things were.

Most recently this past week, I performed and participated in the All County Theatre Festival. I was in Ensamble for Reflex Action. As well as helped after performing at other schools. We received Superior overall award, a sound award for best sound, and a management award!
